On Wednesday evening, April 23 at 8:00 p.m., Queens  Theatre in the Park 
celebrates the opening night of its 3rd annual Asian  Cultural Festival - 
presented by Bank of America.  

The 2008 Asian Cultural Festival  is unique in that it celebrates and 
explores both contemporary and traditional  Asian performing arts and culture.   
Nine companies, featuring  international, national and local artists will 
perform over a five day period  from April 23rd - April 27th.   
Schedule for  Wednesday, April 23rd Opening Night Performance: 

8:00  p.m.  Opening Remarks and Welcome  followed by
	    DULSORI Binari: The Spirit of  the Beat 

9.30  p.m.  Post-show Reception with dessert and refreshments 
 
You can anticipate a full house for  this spectacular event, which will be 
covered in a wide variety of Chinese,  Korean, Indian and English-language 
media. In addition to the enthusiastic  Festival audience, guests will include 
leaders of the greater metropolitan area, Chinese, Korean and South Asian arts 
community, representatives from a number of  Asian consulates, legislators, and
