Embracing Challenges through diversity

WHAT:  The International Immigrants Foundation, in conjunction with the leaders of the multicultural communities of the tri-state area, and the participation of elected officials, and representatives of the diplomatic corps, will host a Press Conference to voice the controversies, challenges and urgencies facing them, on June 4th at The Immigrants Building.

In the words of Edward Juarez, Founder and President of the International Immigrants Foundation,

“This is a year of challenges, and our immigrants are at the crossroad. Today’s more than ever immigrants should be accounted for their participation and contributions to our nation, as they pursue   the American dream. They are expressing dramatic changes in our nation’s landscape that require immediate attention.

We are looking forward to this meeting with the leaders of the multicultural communities in an effort to interact with governmental representatives and members of the press and national media.

In this election year, immigrants could have a decisive vote in our nation future.”

This year’s gathering will be a marked with a new meaning that promises  the participation of more than one hundred  multicultural communities from the tri-state area, on  June 21st, in Avenue of the Americas from 36 th 56 Streets in New York City.
