Bio
Born in Kaohsiung,
Taiwan, Ms. Tsai is a highly acclaimed flutist. She received her Master Degree of Music in Flute Performance in
2001 at Yale University. Active as an
orchestral, and chamber music performer, she has made appearances with the
North American Elite Orchestra, Chinese Youth Corps Orchestra of New York, and
the Chinese American Music Society Orchestra in many major concert halls
including National Concert Hall of Taiwan as well as Carnegie Hall.
As a two-time winner of
the Taiwan Flute Competition and an international soloist, Ms. Tsai has given recitals
in several countries including Macau, Canada, United States and Taiwan. Ms. Tsai had served on the faculty of the
High School of National Taiwan Normal University in 1999. Currently, Ms. Tsai teaches at
Tainan Woman’s College of Arts and Technology.
She is also a doctoral
candidate in Musical Arts degree at The Graduate Center of the City University
of New York.
